Whether
you’re posting for someone you like, or a potential customer, getting people’s
attention in social media is very challenging. Even if an individual were to be
browsing in social media 24/7, I still would bet that he/she won’t be able to
know the story of everyone else, given all the shenanigans that happen in the
world.
However, being the dedicated entrepreneur that you are, that wouldn’t cut it. You want to keep your business’ flow continuous; amidst the difficulty that arises from the use of social media. You then keep posting and posting, day and night. You included all sorts of promotion into the products/services that you offer, but still, it was futile. You didn’t want to resort to traditional marketing since you believe that it would detriment the success rate; leaving you with no other options, no other hope.
Well good news dear entrepreneur! Maybe you haven’t considered hiring a professional social media manager.
“Ugh, more expenses.” Well yes, but at least you’ll do better; which is why it’s definitely worth investing in it. Studying various strategies, statistics, or whatnot in the field of social media will be hard to master. Hiring a professional, then, would compensate for this. Still not sold? Here are two more points to consider:
Convenience and Manpower
You
may not have realized it yet since your business is relatively small currently,
but once it grows, hiring people to work for you will eventually be your future
task. “I can handle everything by myself. I can only trust myself.” Sorry to
pop your bubble, but you’re also human. You’ll make mistakes every now and
then; which is pretty unacceptable in business. If you’d want to keep your
customers, you’ll need to serve them top quality products consistently.
Try
to lower your ego for this one. Besides, wouldn’t you want to have one less
problem out of your head? Let other people work for you so you can have more
time to do what you want.
Field of Expertise
I’ve
already mentioned this earlier, but I’ll repeat it to give emphasis. Unless
you’re some genius that can predict what people want, and what people do, let
another mind help you. They’re called professionals for a reason. Sure, you can
study and research all you want, but just like the popular saying goes, “Time
is gold”.
There
are a lot of aspects to learn and factors to consider, and not all of them can
be read from a book. A few examples of these would include “what would be the
most ideal schedule to post”, “what particular product or service has people
been search for the past few weeks”, “what social media platform is best to use
when advertising this particular product/service”, “what approach would be best
to attract customers in social media”, “how to reply and improve from people’s
messages/feedback/inquiry/suggestion”, and a whole lot more.
Some
lessons may only be learned through experience. If you want to experience your
business hitting rock bottom just to learn a few things, then be my guest. Work
smarter not harder.
Social media marketing is very relevant for a lot of business entrepreneurs, which gives the reason why the search for an advantage in the competition is prevalent. If you try to put hiring a social media manager into account in your business, then you will probably have that much-needed advantage. There are no guarantees in business, but you can increase the chance of success.
Best
of luck dear entrepreneur!
