How to Optimize Social Media Exposure for Business

A study conducted by Emarsys in 2019 has shown that over 3.5 billion people are using social media. It’s obvious that this number will proceed to increase over time given the fact that more and more people continue to immerse in it. This just shows how relevant social media is, and how exposed people are to it.

If you’re an entrepreneur, you’ve probably invested some time searching through the web, reading a bunch of articles about social media and its marketing potential. After all, if you’re looking to recruit more customers to be able to let your business grow, you’re most likely aware that social media is a great place to start.

However, with all these information considered, you’re still unsure on how to start. “There’s a lot of fish in the social media ocean. Yeah, I got it. But I don’t know how to make a good bait to reel in some customers.” That’s something you’re probably wondering how to overcome as you’re very susceptible to being overshadowed by other entrepreneurs. I could respect that, but you miss all the shots you don’t take; so, keep shooting until you hit the shot. Before you shoot though, try to follow some of these tips to gain a bit more accuracy:

Avail to your customers’ needs

The needs of every consumer are pretty dynamic. An individual won’t just buy one product for the rest of his/her life; just like you can’t live with water or food alone.

Take that opportunity to create a product that will satisfy the consumer’s needs. You can try to look into what people are frequently searching for in online, in this case, social media. Do note though that obviously, you can’t whoop up a random product every now and then, so try and come up with a product that’s in-line with what the consumer is seeking, and what your business is capable of offering. That will most definitely increase the odds of being able to sell your product or service.

Give your online page some spice every now and then

Talking about this topic can go very long, but the main idea is to not be boring. Whether you’d be designing your business’ home page or designing a post you’ll be releasing soon, you’d better not finish it half-hearted. Don’t try to use plain and overused background, templates, or what not. Try to keep it dynamically aesthetic. This way, consumers will always be more enlightened to read or check the post you’ve made. Aside from giving out promotions, doing this is also a good technique to grab more and more people to inquire for your products/services.

Consider also adding videos and pictures in your post. According to Neil Patel’s research, making a video for your product can increase its sales by 144%. In the same way, pictures can also grab much-wanted attention from customers. With the help of those tools, you can shorten the text content to a decent amount that’s enough to keep the consumers reading.

Determine the best social media platform to use as well as the schedule of posting

Choosing the right social media platform isn’t that hard, as you can use any of the popular ones such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram; but some researchers say that Facebook and Instagram are the most ideal.

Schedule for when to post, on the other hand, might be harder to determine as it varies towards your target market; so, try and research. Practically however, it’s advisable to post during your customers’ breaks.
